Description
The MK4S is Prusa's refined bed-slinger, engineered and made in Prague. The upgraded Nextruder combines a load cell for first-layer calibration without a tap routine and a filament sensor that detects clogs, tangles and runouts during the print. A colour LCD touchscreen, an input-shaping accelerometer and a record of long service make it a machine for makers running PLA through nylon and polycarbonate. Draw is about 80 W on PLA and up to 120 W on ABS from a 240 W supply, and the toolhead can accelerate up to 20,000 mm/s² without losing the accuracy the load-cell calibration is there to hold. It takes standard 1.75 mm filament.
