The Elegoo Mars 5 extends Elegoo's series of entry-level resin printers. It utilizes a COB (chip-on-board) 405 nm light source, ensuring uniform curing across the entire build plate. The compact 143 x 90 x 150 mm build area is ideal for miniatures, jewellery designs, and smaller functional components. Crisp fine details are achieved with a layer resolution as low as 0.01 mm. An 8.9 cm touchscreen simplifies the setup process for those new to resin printing. Weighing 6.6 kg, the unit is suitable for placement on a desk or hobby bench. Its 4K monochrome LCD offers a 35 × 35 micron pixel pitch, providing ample detail for miniature and jewellery patterns of this scale. The printer offers flexibility by supporting ChituBox, Lychee Slicer, or Voxeldance Tango, avoiding a single workflow restriction.
